Writer, Seeker, Friend
My soul thrives in many places.
It breathes freely under a mammoth West Texas sky,
is restored on Oregon's cool mountain paths near waterfalls
and strengthens resilient on East Africa's bumpy red-dirt roads.
To serve in a foreign place is my calling.
To serve with my family, whom I dearly esteem, is my humble honor.
I am always longing for
Born and raised in West Texas, I married my Oregon man just after college and then relocated to the other side of a settled and secure world to build a new life and ministry near the Ruwenzori Mountains of Fort Portal, Uganda East Africa.
"See, the Sovereign LORD comes with power, and his arm rules for him.
See, his reward is with him, and his recompense accompanies him.
He tends his flock like a shepherd:
He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart;
he gently leads those that have young."
Thank you for joining me in this space for a moment.
Eyes fixed, pace steadied, hope secure.
May He be all we find.
